2014: The Beginning of Mast Biryani
Founded by Mr. Pranjal Chetia, Mast Biryani became Assam's first homegrown biryani brand.
The first outlet was launched on Zoo Road, Guwahati, marking the start of an extraordinary culinary legacy.
2015: Expansion and Recognition
A second, updated outlet opened in Beltola, Guwahati, establishing Mast Biryani as the go-to destination for biryani lovers in the North East.
2018: Reaching New Heights
Mast Biryani launched its third outlet in Adabari, a prime location for food enthusiasts, further strengthening its position in the market.
2020: New Horizons Amid Challenges
Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Mast Biryani began planning its expansion beyond Guwahati.
Jorhat, Assam’s key financial district, was identified as the next ideal location for growth.
2023: A New Chapter with Foodisthan
Mast Biryani became part of the Jaggan Foodtec portfolio, led by Mr. Pranjal Chetia.
The first Foodisthan Food Court was launched at Dharapur, introducing multiple food brands under one roof, including Mast Biryani and other innovative concepts.
This marked the beginning of Birinj Global Foods expansion into multi-brand food experiences.
2024: Growing Presence
Mast Biryani opened its 6th outlet in Dibrugarh, further expanding its footprint across Assam.
Foodisthan continued to build its presence as a hub for diverse cuisines.
2025: Ambitious Growth Targets
By 2025, Birinj Global Foods aims to open over 50 operational stores across pan India from the house of brands Mast Biryani, Jagri Tea, and Foodisthan.
2030: Scaling New Heights
Expand to more than 500 stores across India within the next five years by employing ethical sourcing practices, minimizing food wastage, and creating a healthier, more sustainable environment.
